It has been announced that Dave Freeman, co-author of the best-selling travel guide 100 Things to Do Before You Die, has died after falling and hitting his head.
Freeman, aged 47, had only succeeded in experiencing some 50 of the adventures which he and his co-writer Neil Teplica had suggested in their book.
According to the Daily Telegraph, they included extraordinary feats such as land-diving on the island of Vanuatu in the South Pacific Ocean and running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.
The book also recommends a number of other eccentric activities, including making a voodoo pilgrimage in Haiti, nude night surfing in Australia and competing in a yelling competition in North Carolina.
