Portugal Telecom to acquire Brazil's GPTI
Portugal Telecom (ELI:PTCA) reported on Monday that it has agreed to acquire Brazilian IT company GPTI SA in an all-stock transaction.
The company will pay for GPTI by issuing shares in Dedic, a subsidiary of Portugal Telecom that operates in the contact centre business in Brazil.
